ExoPlanet Ghosts

$265.00

Size (h w d): 10 x 10 x 0.5 in
Medium: Alcohol ink, enamel and acrylic on a birch round in a bespoke shadow box frame.
Framed Size (h w d): 12 x 12 x 1.5 in

Series: Planets

An exoplanet is any planet beyond our solar system. Most exoplanets orbit other stars, but some are free-floating exoplanets, called rogue planets, and are untethered to any star. NASA has confirmed the existence of more than 5,600 exoplanets out of the billions that are believed to exist.

I’ve been fascinated by the diversity and variety of these distant bodies that share our galaxy. A recurrent theme that I return to often to explore exoplanets that I imagine exist in some world.
